DECORATIVE PLASTERWORK & PLASTERWORK CONSERVATION
We believe in retaining the original character of a building, so preservation and restoration of plasterwork is integral in our Harrogate Interior Design service.
We also offer specialist plaster wall finishes, such as Marmorino, a classic, decorative plaster that dates back to Roman times, made popular in Venice during the 15th Century. This high quality plaster, which can be successfully applied to curved areas, is made from coloured pigments of crushed marble and lime putty. It can achieve a wide range of colours and textures, including marble and natural stone effects.
Used correctly Marmorino is elegant, timeless and also remarkably practical as it is both antibacterial and waterproof, making it ideal for use in luxury bathrooms, spa areas or a wet environment at a fraction of the cost of the marble or stone which it often substitutes.
